Casey Wing memorial fund
Casey Wing, age 15, fell to her death on July 25, 2015. This fund is to help her mother Sheila Wing pay for the cost of services. Casey was predeceased by her father Wesley Wing who died tragically on April 19, 2015.
Springfield turns back Walpole, 6-3, to win Fall Mountain Baseball League title
For almost the entire Fall Mountain Baseball League season, Springfield stood atop the standings. Come playoff time, things were no different; defeating Charlestown to earn a spot in the championship game Friday night against Walpole.

The Vermont Department of Health announced Friday that West Nile virus is back this summer, as mosquitoes testing positive for the virus were trapped in Springfield last week.
